Maritime Museum of the Atlantic

Our next stop after the Halifax Citadel was the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. The maritime museum's exhibits included a showcase of boats from Nova Scotia, the effort of Halifax ships to recover bodies from the sinking of the Titanic, the Halifax Explosion, which killed approximately 2,000 and resulted from fire caused by a collision between a French munitions shop, Mont Blanc, and a Norwegian Ship, Imo, and a history of the Cunard shipping line.
