Prince Edward Island National Park
After taking in the Green Gables sites, we visited Prince Edward Island National Park, on the province's north coast. There we took in some breathtaking views of the ocean, the beach, and red stone cliffs. Clare, Conor, and I sat in one of the red Adirondack chairs, which Parks Canada has placed throughout Canada's national parks as a place for visitors to slow down, relax, and truly discover the best that Parks Canada has to offer. We visited the Cavendish-North Rustico and Brackley-Dalvay sections of the Park, and enjoyed lunch at Stanhope Beach where we were watched over by some very large ravens. All in all, it was an enjoyable visit.
