The Montmorency Falls
In the early morning, after a croissant breakfast at Paillard, just a few blocks from our hotel, we loaded up the car and bid a fond farewell to Quebec City, making our way north a bit to the majestic Montmorancy Falls. The falls are 276 feet high, 98 feet higher than Niagara Falls, and are the highest in Quebec. We took in some breathtaking views of the falls, walked across the suspension bridge overlooking the falls, and hiked some of the trails for even more views of the falls. The double zip line was closed so we skipped that part of the experience! We then headed back to the car for the long drive (500 miles) to Moncton, New Brunswick.
